In private healthcare in Malaysia, patients know which doctors they want to see first before finding out which hospital is the doctor practising in. And this is especially so for surgeries and oncology.
When I was first presented with the concept of Hospital Picaso by Dato' Dr Loh Chit Sin, I immediately liked the concept of developing a hospital that brings together surgeons that have a passion to increase the availability of minimally invasive surgeries to benefit patients and also the opportunity to have an integrated approach to cancer treatment for patients.
I hope to help the doctors at Picaso implement their vision and also find more like-minded healthcare administrators with a passion to improve how private healthcare can be delivered to the community.
