Job Summary
Render Professional Nuclear Medicine Services and assist in Diagnostic Radiology.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure availability of radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals for the smooth running of nuclear medicine activities.
- Assist Radiopharmacist in preparing required radiopharmaceuticals for daily use by observing sterile and aseptic techniques and ensuring QC as per task procedure.
- Perform daily checks to ensure the accuracy of radioactivity measurement according to the dose calibrator.

Job Description
- Ensure the highest clinical care standards by overseeing radiation measurement, treatment planning, and verification for accurate patient treatment delivery. To be responsible in designing, evaluating, and verifying treatment plans as well as mentoring and guiding junior medical physicists.
- Lead the commissioning of new radiotherapy equipment and manage internal beam therapy and radioactive source handling.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) programme for radiotherapy and nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring compliance with the Ministry of Health and other regulatory bodies.
- To be responsible as RPO to lead radiation safety programmes, ensuring proper exposure protocols, shielding, and hazard assessments to protect patients and staff. Also responsible for hazard assessments and preparing contingency plans for radiation-related incidents.
- Oversee maintenance and calibration of radiation therapy equipment, conduct research to improve treatment workflows, and provide training on radiation safety, treatment planning and quality control, ensuring the continual development of the staff.

- Master's degree in Medical Physics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical physics, with a focus on radiotherapy or nuclear medicine.
